Technology Impact Awards highlight innovative companies in British Columbia

The 29th annual Know-how Affect Awards (TIAs) set a new record, with 48 finalists and 12 winners introduced.

Held previous 7 days at the Vancouver Conference Centre, the TIA award for the “Company of the Year – Startup” went to VodaSafe, which gives underwater scanning technological innovation used to enable discover drowning victims. Other awards of the evening included the “Spirit of BC Tech Ambition” and “Excellence in Organization Culture” awards, which have been each presented to Dapper Labs. The company presents blockchain based mostly gaming encounters and electronic collectibles.

The “Diversity and Inclusion” award went to Hootsuite, and the “Excellence in Technology Innovation” award went to Vancouver Airport Authority

There had been four other “Company of the Year” awards introduced, highlighting “Growth”, “Export”, “Scale”, and “Anchor”.

These awards went to AOT Technologies, Sophisticated Cyclotron Systems, Redlen Technologies, and GeoComply respectively.
