Crystal Cruises ships expected to resume service under new owners

Following suspending functions before this year, Crystal Cruises will established sail once again.

A&K Vacation Group, owned by Geoffrey Kent of luxurious vacation enterprise Abercrombie & Kent and industrial keeping firm Heritage, purchased the Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony ships, the firms introduced Wednesday.

A&K Travel Team also acquired the Crystal Cruises brand name, and subsequent “intensive refurbishment,” the vessels will resume operations in 2023, in accordance to a push launch. Heritage is chaired by previous Silversea Cruises proprietor Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio.

Crystal Cruises reportedly shut down at least its U.S. functions previously this year just after an arrest warrant had been issued for the Crystal Symphony thanks to unpaid fuel charges.
